Christen Willard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been actively serving and growing in the field of mental health for nine years and counting. She graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Minor in Theater. Later, she went on to receive her Master's degree in Social Work at California State University, Long Beach. Her professional background ranges from working with inner-city youth in at-risk communities to supporting the elderly population in hospice care, and everything in between. Her post-licensure work targeted adults 18 years and up, primarily providing short-term solution-focused therapy in the framework of CBT and DBT modalities. Now, through her newly found private practice, Will to Heal, PLLC, she offers faith-based mental health services to support individuals struggling with identity challenges manifested by anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, stress, grief, faith struggles, and more. From her own lived experience, Christen has developed a deep desire to help others live in the true joy, peace, and fulfillment that come with accurately knowing yourself and fully operating in your God-given purpose, and she is grateful she gets to fulfill that desire through her practice and the work she does today.
